Enloce 2022: Chile’s largest port logistics and foreign trade industry meeting comes to an end

– The fair had 1,250 visitors, more than 23 conference blocks, and 50 expert panelists in the field who participated in person. – GL events Corporate Affairs Manager, Rodrigo Lobo, announced that the next version will be held in May 2023. Valparaiso, 06.06.2022. The VII Meeting of Logistics and Foreign Trade, Enloce 2022, which gathered the port logistics industry, ended with a positive balance, where the technological advances in the field, the current challenges and new market demands, and the opportunities offered today by international trade in the country, were presented. GL events’ Corporate Affairs Manager, Rodrigo Lobo, pointed out that “we are happy to have held this new version of Enloce 2022 which, after three years of waiting, allowed us to meet again in person, with a large portfolio of exhibitors and an important participation of visitors”. Lobo added that “during the two days of the fair, national and international speakers provided unprecedented information on the future of the industry and the projects needed to be competitive at a global level. We also had an exhibition that contributed to the presentation of services and products of the industry, as well as opportunities for the training of personnel”. The meeting was organized by the Foro Logístico de Puerto Valparaíso (FOLOVAP) and by Empresa Portuaria Valparaíso, together with the company FISA, of the GL events Group. ENLOCE 2023 In view of Chile’s role in the port logistics industry, the event succeeded in promoting innovation in the field, providing tools for its development in the country, and contributed to the relationship between companies, boosting the creation of direct and indirect jobs produced around the fair. In this context, and in view of the importance of the meeting at regional and national level, Lobo announced the new version. “Today, at the culmination of the largest international congress in the country, and after having the participation of high authorities such as the Undersecretary of Economy and the Minister of Transport and Telecommunications, we can say that Chile will be able to continue growing strongly and offer development at local and international level. This is why we are announcing the future version of Enloce to be held again in the Valparaíso Region. We want everyone to be part of it, so everyone is cordially invited to participate in the 2023 version”. Lobo concluded by stating that “the port logistics sector is indispensable for the country, since 90% of our foreign trade is mobilized by sea. Therefore, we must keep the industry connected to increase its regional and global positioning. Likewise, we want to highlight the Valparaíso Region as a destination for trade fair tourism, since it has great advantages due to its culture, landscapes and location, and at the same time, it represents an interesting opportunity to increase investment and encourage economic reactivation in the area, cementing a better future for its community with a City-Port vocation”.
